Close your eyes, listen. Do you hear the сrackling? It’s a bunch of dragons hiding in the mythical forest. Let’s discover all their beauty and learn to create some exquisite variations of these fantasy creatures. I invite you to this practical workshop. We learn to combine different painting techniques and complement designs with decorative elements. By the end of the class, your imagination will be kindled to invent your own original dragons. Moreover - I will give you all the tools to make it quickly and easily.

Materials:

Dragon Fruit & Clover
  • For the dragon and clover leaves:
Self-made split cake: Green Deep, Neon Green, Light Blue, ½ of regular 30g split cake wide. Analog: Diamond FX 30g Split Cake “Garden Gnome” (RS30-32) or any green gradient combination you prefer.
  • For the inside dragon wing, eyelids and flowers:
Split cake Fusion Body Art "Berry Pretty LC" 30g. In the video, I also use a self-made pink colors split cake for the sponge, but this is just an option. You can try some split cakes from Leanne’s Happy Pixie - Petal Palette (Fusion Body Art), like Leanne’s Cherry Blossom Butterfly or Leanne’s Pretty In Pink.
Global Colours "Green Deep" 32g (you can use other brands' analogs) as an alternative for black outline and details.
Regular Light Yellow color Dimart 32g for dragon’s mane and highlights (you can use other brands' analogs, Superstar or Global, for example, or mix regular White and Neon Yellow colors).
Global Colours Magenta as a second color for triple dip technique.
Regular wax Black color for the outline, details and as a third color for triple dip technique.
Regular wax White color for the flowers, clows and details (in all these designs I'm using PartyXplosion).
  • For the lips:
Split cake Fusion Body Art "Berry Pretty LC" 30g.
Mix of Superstar Magenta Shimmer (Sparkle Magenta FAB) (139) and some rose metallic color (sorry, I can’t remember the brand). I used them just to soften the colors on the lips and blend them gently. Feel free to use your lipstick color ring.
    Disposable lip applicator
Translucent slightly shimmering eye shadows to fix the paint on the eyelids. This step is optional.
Cotton pad or swab to remove extra color.
